Teacher Arrested for Having ‘Long-Term’ Sexual Relationship with 12-Year-Old Student!

A 24-year-old Colorado middle school teacher has been accused of having a long-term sexual relationship with a male student, age just 12, who she also allegedly gave marijuana to.
Former Brentwood Middle School teacher Katerina Bardos, of Greeley, faces charges of sex assault on a child, sex assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
After a three-week investigation by Greeley Police, Bardos was arrested on Wednesday for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and the sexual relationship was revealed after the arrest.

The alleged relationship, which lasted for some time, started when the now-13-year-old boy was in Bardos's sixth-grade class at Brentwood, investigators said.
Bardos also allegedly provided the student with marijuana, according to KUSA.
The Greeley-Evans School District released a statement of Friday regarding Bardos's arrest, according to FOX 31.
'Katerina Bardos was a teacher at Brentwood Middle School from August 2013 through May 2014. Her contract was not renewed at the end of May 2014,' the statement read.
It continued: 'The only alleged male victim in this case is a student at Brentwood Middle School. Greeley-Evans School District 6 personnel are cooperating with the Greeley Police Department investigation of these allegations.'
Bardos moved to Frontier Charter School to teach fourth grade in fall 2014 and allegedly continued to have a sexual relationship with the boy until just before her arrest, police said.
Frontier executive committee president Stan Sugen sent a message to families and staff about the arrest on Friday.
The message said: 'It has come to our attention that the Greeley Police Department arrested an employee of Frontier Academy.
'The first thing we want you to know is that the safety of our students is our number one priority, and we have been informed that the arrest was unrelated to any student at Frontier Academy.
'The employee has been terminated. As termination is a personnel matter, we will not make any further comment.'
Bardos has no prior arrests on record, according to ABC7. She was taken to the Weld County Jail on Friday on a $100,000 bond.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 18.
