Jonathan Sacks NSC DG, Gbenga Elegbeleye

The Director General of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, has been relieved of his appointment with immediate effect. The Anchor Online gathered that the sack of Hon. Elegbeleye, a former member of the House of Representatives, was on the order of the President.
Alhassan Yakmut, a Director in the Commission has been directed to assume office on Monday as the Acting Director General of the Commission. Elegbeleye was once the Representative of the Akoko North West/ North East Federal Constituency and during his time as a Rep, he was the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports.
