INEC's Website Hacked!

As Nigerians are at the polls, electing the President that will govern the country for the next 4 years, the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Saturday announced that its website was hacked.
A tweet on INEC's Twitter handle read " We are aware of the recent hack of our @inecnigeria website, we are currently investigating this incident".
The site cannot be accessed presently as the message on it reads "

We’ll be back soon!

Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. We’ll be back online shortly! Site should be back up soon." The Anchor Online gathered that the hacking was carried out by a group that calls itself "Team Nigeria Cyber Army".
Meanwhile, the newly introduced card reader failed to read the voters' cards presented by President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience.
The extent the hackers went on the website could not be ascertained as of the time of filing the report.
