Suicide Bomber Kills 10 in Biu Main Market

No fewer than 10 people lost their lives in Borno State when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in the busy Biu Main market on Thursday.
Biu, located in Biu Local Government has experienced several terror attacks in the past. In the last few days
of 2014, several attacks were carried out. There was also an incident in which 7 suspected terrorists were blown up by an apparently timed explosive device which went off before time.
Earlier in the year too, the town came under attack when members of the Boko Haram terrorist group tried to overrun a military base but the insurgents were repelled by the military.
