PDP Condemns Kano, Potiskum Bombings

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu has condemned Tuesday’s terror attacks on innocent Nigerians in Kano town and Potiskum in Yobe State respectively.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Tuesday said the party was “deeply saddened by the news of the attack in the two northern cities, which claimed the lives of harmless citizens going about their legitimate endeavours.”

“Indeed, the PDP mourns. We are deeply pained by these attacks on our citizens. Our hearts and prayers go out to the bereaved and the wounded. We share in their pain and pray that those behind their grief must not escape justice,” the party said.
Insisting that the attacks cannot be justified under any guise, the party urged Nigerians not to be deterred but remain united and continue to support the Federal Government in the war against terrorism.
The PDP commiserated with the families of those who lost their lives and prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
