Don't Lead Nigerians to the Bush, Fayose Tells Obasanjo

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has described the declaration of support for General Muhammadu Buhari by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as political somersault.
Fayose also asked Nigerians to ignore Obasanjo because of his antecedent as a man who has penchant for deceiving people for his own political gains.
He said, “leaving President Jonathan and vote for Buhari is like to abandon the road and enter the bush. God forbid we enter the forest where we may not come out for years.
How can you follow somebody who because of old age is senile, but being propelled by his followers to fly the plane at all cost. Won't that plane crash?.
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, Fayose said that all what Obasanjo represents is failure branding a failed project so as to plunge the country into another political crisis.
The governor said only gullible minds will obey his call that Buhari should be voted for, saying that Obasanjo should not be trusted for anything.
Fayose likened the call by Obasanjo to the people to board a flight with a sickly pilot is as well telling the populace to commit suicide.
He stressed that Obasanjo resulted to all this political abracadabra because of his failure to secure life presidency through his third term agenda that's why he would always want the country to be in crisis in other to call him for assistance.
According to the Ekiti State governor, anything that comes out of the mouth and mind of Obasanjo is laced with senility which is dangerous for anybody to follow.
He advised that anybody that follows the word of Obasanjo is doing so at his own peril because the former President in no more in tune with modernity but prides himself now on greed and self- aggrandizement.
He noted that Obasanjo has been consistently defeated by the opposition parties in his own place before and after he left office as the President of this country, saying that of what electoral value is a politician that can't deliver votes that win election.
He maintained that the former President is more of a liability than a gain in the ongoing political scenario, adding that his endorsement of Buhari has clearly shown that he is an elder who has lost wisdom.
Fayose called on Nigerians not to take the old man serious saying that Obasanjo has lost value of a good leader and urged the people to vote en masse for Jonathan.
