Bomb Explodes Inside Bank in Bauchi, Scores Killed

Scores of people are believed to have lost their lives in Azare, Bauchi State following an explosion inside a branch of First Bank Plc in the town.
Witnesses disclosed that no fewer than 10 people died immediately after the blast while many others were injured.
The bomb reportedly went off on Friday morning as workers queued up in the banking hall for their salaries.

The Boko Haram terrorist group is believed to have carried out the attack. The group's members attacked a cement plant in Gombe state recently and carted away explosives used in the blasting of rocks from the site.
The PRO of the Bauchi State Police Command could not be reached for comments as of the time of filing this report.
