Bafana Bafana Qualify For AFCON as Nigeria Beats Congo at Home!

South Africa became the fourth country to qualify for the 2015 CAF Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-1 win over Sudan in Durban. 
Saturday's qualifier took place in the hometown of the late Senzo Meyiwa, the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper who was tragically killed last monthand the victory allowed the Group A leaders to join already-qualified Algeria, Cape Verde and Tunisia.
Equatorial Guinea, named as hosts in place of Morocco on Friday, qualify automatically for the 17 January-8 February event. 

Tunisia became the third country to secure a place at the tournament when they drew 0-0 in Botswana yesterday, lifting the Carthage Eagles to 11 points in Group G and ensuring them of a top-two finish and qualification.
Meanwhile, Nigeria's Super Eagles were in superb form as they defeated the Red Devils of Congo 0-2 in Pointe Noire. The Congolese had won the first leg in Calabar by 3 goals 2. 
Returnee, Ike Uche opened scoring from the spot in the middle of the second half while Aaron Samuel wrapped it up in the last minute of regulation time. 
Super Eagles' goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama had earlier saved a penalty that could have provided the Congolese with an equalizer. There was crowd trouble after the second goal as fans went wild and hurled missiles onto the pitch but the game resumed after about seven minutes. The Congolese were however not able to pull a goal back. 
Nigeria faces South Africa at the recently commissioned Akwa Ibom Stadium on Wednesday.
