Tambuwal Dares PDP, Attends APC Meeting

After months of speculation, it can now be confirmed that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, is set to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Speaker was on Monday spotted at a meeting of APC stakeholders in Sokoto, his home state.

Tambuwal's associates have admitted that his presence at the meeting will likely herald his official defection from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
His defection has long been expected as his body language had always indicated that he was no longer with the PDP.
His media aides have however claimed that Mr. Speaker has not defected as they stated that he was invited by Governor Wamakko to attend a meeting of his "political family". One of his aides said Tambuwal is still consulting about his political future.
