Falcons Conquer Africa Again

Nigeria’s female national soccer team, the Super Falcons, on Saturday defeated the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon by 2 goals to nil to win the African Women’s Championship.
Saturday's victory at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek makes it a record seventh time that the Falcons have won the championship.

Nigeria opened scoring through Desire Oparanozie who scored through a freekick in the 13th minute.
 Wonder girl, Asisat Oshoala scored the Galcons' second goal in the 44th minute.
The Cameroonians tried all they could but scores remained 2-0 till the end of the game.
Both finalists as well as the Ivorian team that came third in the competition will represent Africa at the next FIFA women's championship in Canada.
