EFCC Declares Lagos Bizman Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has declared one Salisu Taiwo wanted over the issuance of dud cheques and obtaining by false pretence. The declaration was made via a statement issued by the commission.

Below is the full text of the statement:

The public is hereby notified that SALISU TAIWO aka Olusola Enitan, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a case of Conspiracy, Obtaining Property and Money by False Pretences and Issuance of Dud Cheques. Taiwo under the pretext of renting a property, situated at Magodo GRA, Lagos, and purchasing items for its furnishing, issued cheques totaling N11, 398, 500.00 (Eleven Million, Three Hundred and Ninety-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Naira Only).

But before the cheques could clear, he evacuated all the furniture and electrical appliances purchased by the property owner at his instance and sold them at give away prices at Alaba Market Lagos.

Dark complexioned Taiwo is 39 years old and 5.7 Feet in height. He speaks Yoruba and English fluently.

His last known address is Block A, Flat 35, Alarab Estate Akute, Ogun State.
