Days after the first case of Ebola Virus Disease was recorded on American soil, more measures are already being taken to ensure that the virus is contained within the shortest possible time.
A passenger that arrived from Brussels in Belgium was on Saturday removed from a United Airlines flight at Newark Airport by medical personnel who wore hazmat suits. The patient apparently presented symptoms of a yet to be ascertained ailment during the flight.
Days ago, a patient was diagnosed with Ebola in a hospital in Houston Texas and it was found out that the patient arrived from Liberia.
The virus has killed more than 3, 000 people in West Africa since its outbreak months ago.
