Police Commissioners To Start Issuing Tinted Glass Permits

The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has decentralized the issuance of tinted glass permit.

He has delegated the power to Commissioners of Police in charge of State Commands so as to bring service closer to the people. According to the Force PRO, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, such permits have the same authority as those previously issued by Force Headquarters and are valid throughout the Federation.
He stated that applicants have to get their vehicles examined to ascertain the tinted glasses are factory fitted.
