PDP Updates Zonal Integration Committee List

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday updated its Zonal Integration Committee list, in which the names of some prominent party members had been omitted. This was c9ontained in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh.
Below is the full text of the statement::

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wishes to apologize to the leaders and critical stakeholders of the party in

the South East geo-political zone for the unintended omissions in the published list of the PDP Zonal Integration Committee.

Particularly, the national leadership apologizes to the Chairman of South-East Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji of Abia state who we have immense respect for. We also apologize to the humble and mature Governor of Ebonyi state, His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi and the hard-working Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime on behalf of our entire members and stakeholders in the South East.

In the light of the foregoing, the following leaders are hereby specially included in the list.

They are:
1. His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji, the Executive Governor of Abia state and Chairman, South East Governors’ Forum.
2. His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state.
3. His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime, the Executive Governor of Enugu state.
4. His Excellency, Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Governor of Old Anambra state.
5. Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu, former National Vice Chairman, South East zone.
