Ibadan Prophet Says "Oritsejafor Chose The Gospel of Jonathan over That of Christ"

The National President of Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N.), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has totally lost focus by propagating the gospel of Goodluck Jonathan’s 3rd Term rather than the gospel of Christ.
This was the position of Prophet Wale Olagunju the Presiding Bishop of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministry, Sasa Ibadan.
Prophet Olagunju in a release issued in Ibadan apparently referring to the seizure of an aircraft carrying $9.3 million
allegedly meant for arms purchase in South Africa said, the mere fact Pastor Oritsajafor admitted the ownership of the aircraft and the Federal Government accepting the ownership of the huge money is enough evidence to prove that he has lost focus.
“How will Oritsejafor explain to the world that with the fleet of Presidential jets in the country, the federal government could not use any, other than the one belonging to the  C.A.N President for the unholy job?” the cleric queried.
Prophet Olagunju noted that the action of Oritsejafor has tarnished not only Christianity in Nigeria, but also the name of Jesus Christ who he professes to represent.
“By your action, the heathen have seized the airwaves contending that the God that we Christians leaders of our age worship is mammon rather that the living God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ”, Olagunju stressed.
Prophet Olagunju while pointing out that other leaders like Arch Bishops Olubunmi Okogie, Onaiyekan, Akinola had served as C,A.N Presidents without causing any disgrace to Christianity, wondered why Oritsejafor chose to serve his own stomach rather than God.
During the military era when another set of leaders took charge of CAN, they stood up to power and their impact was felt because materialism meant nothing to them and they were steadfast.

According to Olagunju, “ when you go by the recent actions of Pastor Oritsejafor
as well as recent unfolding events in the country, you will realize that the professed servant of God has allowed religious and tribal sentiments to blindfold his reasoning such that he has totally derailed and does not know what to do other than to assume the position of Campaign Manager for Jonathan 2015. The CAN President needs to realize the need to draw the line between being an ethnic champion, a protégé of president Jonathan and providing purposeful leadership that would position CAN well at such a time as we are.
Recalling events, Prophet Olagunju queried,” how can you call somebody under whose watchful eyes as C.A.N. President, the Association of Nigerian Witches and Wizards in 2011 adopted Jonathan as their presidential candidate and sent 500 members to inaugurate his government a Christian. You will recall that it was widely published that they requested for May 29, 2011 which was a Sunday for the event which Oritsejafor did not kick against”
The Cleric pointed out that Jonathan has committed the same offence committed by King Saul in the Bible which ended his government.
Prophet  Olagunju warned that the recent actions of Oritsejafor could trigger a religious war in the country as the Muslims through the Director of Muslim Right Concern (MURIC) Professor Ishaq Akintola alleged that the cash loaded aircraft / weapon deal is a conspiracy against Muslims.
Pointing out that Oritsajafor does not possess the leadership traits for such a body like C.A.N. the cleric who referred to the pull out of the Conference of Catholic Bishops from C. A. N. advised him to honorably bow out of office for a noble person to lead and reposition the body for the assignment ahead.
What Nigeria needs now are true prophets of God who could say “thus says the Lord”. Men who, like the Elijah/Elisha and Apostles of Old, evidently stand in the presence of God and could command fire at the altar as Elijah did. We need prophets who could speak the truth to the powers that be and not those corroded and compromised by those in and around the corridors of power. We need those who know God and are His oracles. We need those who have walked with the most High God and have his testimony that they are blameless. To find the way out of the Nigerian wilderness we need those who will faithfully combat the anti-Christ raging in the North East of our Nation.
There is already a religious war in Nigeria, the problem of the Nigerian nation today is much of witchcraft sacred advisers who are using religion to destabilize our nation. They are in Aso Rock Villa, it can be curtailed if Jonathan can do some cleansing by sacking all those religious deceivers who are in the Villa.  Time is right to separate religion from politics.
Prophet Olagunju, who associated himself with all the allegations of the Catholic Bishops, listed 4 of the allegations as
1.     Expatiating further on its grouse with the Oritsejafor-led leadership of the association, the bishops lamented that CAN had been politicized and was no longer being used to promote peace and unity in the country.
2.     “CAN is being dragged into partisan politics thereby compromising the ability to play its true role as conscience of the nation and the voice of the voiceless”, the bishops said.
3.     Mr. Oritsejafor has often been accused of being divisive in the way he is running the association, often making comments in support of the Peoples Democratic Party-led federal government and President Goodluck Jonathan.
Some Christians believe he has pushed CAN into ignominy with his utterances and actions making Nigerians to regard the association as an arm of the PDP and concluded that honorable thing is for Oritsejafor to leave as he is polarizing the Christian body.
“To our Muslim brothers all over the country let me assure you as a servant of the Most High God that: Christians are peace loving people as the Lord Jesus Christ taught us to maintain peace in our communities and with our neighbours for Christ Jesus is the Prince of Peace. So Christianity is a religion of peace. (Isaiah 9: 6, Hebrew 12:14, John 18:36, John15: 17-21 and Mathew 26:52). So we are not fighting the Muslims, whatever anybody does is not in our interest. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not walk after the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.  II Cor 10:3-6”, Prophet Olagunju concluded.
