Group Canvasses for Jimi Agbaje's Candidature

As the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP prepares hard to take over Lagos from the All Progressive Congress, APC in 2015, The Ambassadors, a socio-political group has declared its intention to support the aspiration of Mr Jimi Agbaje to sail through as the PDP's flag bearer in the forthcoming election in the state.

The group, in a statement issued in Lagos by its National Coordinator, Comrade Opeyemi Ahmed, stated that from all indications, Mr Jimi Agbaje appeared better prepared to fly the PDP flag in Lagos State and advised other aspirants on the platform of the party to work with him for PDP to be able to win in the 2015 elections. The Ambassadors disclosed that it had embarked on house-to-house and market-to-market campaign to mobilize the people across the 20 local governments in the state in support of Agbaje's gubernatorial ambition. The group insists that the endorsement of Agbaje as its candidate was borne out of his credibility and political relevance in the state and vowed to facilitate the PDP's victory in the state come 2015.
