Governor Fayemi's Office Set Ablaze As Violence Erupts in Ekiti!

The campaign office of the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi located at Ajilosun, on Ikere Road, Ado Ekiti was on Friday set ablaze by thugs. The act is believed to have been an offshoot of the assassination of Aderiye Omolafe, the former state Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers.

Omolafe who was with the Governor-elect, Ayo Fayose in the Ekiti State High Court on Thursday morning was gunned down about 12 hours later.
 As it stands, a new chapter of violence seems to have been opened in the politics of Ekiti State.
