67 South Africans Died in Synagogue Collapse, Zuma Confirms

While Nigerian authorities put the body count at the collapsed buildng in the Synagogue Church of All Nations at 59, South Africa's President, Jacob Zuma on Tuesday confirmed that 67 South Africans died in the incident.
"This is a particularly difficult time for South Africa", Zuma said.
Speaking further, he said "not in the recent history of our country have we had this large number of our people die in one incident outside the country. Our thoughts are with the families, friends and colleagues that have lost loved ones in this heart-breaking tragedy. The whole nation shares the pains of the fathers, mothers, daughters and sons who have lost loved ones. We are all in grief".
The actual cause of the collapse has not been ascertained. The leadetship of the church provided a video to support its claim that a helicopter that hovered over the building before it went down had a sinister motive. The church pointed in the direction of a terror attack while some people have inisnuated that a structural defect might have been the cause
